Jupe loves toread. She goes to the library each Saturday.

“I will read thispirate book,” Jupe says. “I will read this book about ants,” she says. Jupestacks her books.

Then, she looksfor more books. “This whale book looks good,” she says. “This joke book isfunny,” she says. It is the end of the day.

The library isclosing. Jupe uses her library card.

Then, Jupe triesto pick up her stack of books. The stack is too heavy.

“What will I do?”Says Jupe. Jupe looks out the library window.

She sees Lurk.Lurk is pulling a wagon.

“Can I put mybooks in your wagon?” asks Jupe. “Sure!” says Lurk.

Jupe reads to Lurkas he pulls the wagon. She reads about pirates and ants. She reads jokes fromher joke book.

The next Saturday,Lurk gets his own library card. Now, they need two wagons!
