It was a very hot summer.

这是一个炎热的夏天。

Winnie the Witch felt hot and tired.

女巫温妮觉得又热又累。

Wilbur, her cat, felt hot and tired, too.

她的猫威尔伯也觉得又热又累。

"I want to swim, Wilbur." Winnie said. "Let's go to the seaside."

“我想去游泳，威尔伯，”温妮说。 “我们去海边吧。”

Winnie found her beach towel, her beach bag and her beach umrella.

温妮找出了她的沙滩巾，沙滩袋和遮阳伞。

She jumped onto her broomstick, Wilbur jumped onto her shoulder, and they were off.

They flew over hot towns, hot roads, hot cars, and then they came to the sea.
