The night Max wore his wolf suit and made mischief of one kind

那天晚上，Max穿上狼外套开始了他的恶作剧。

and another

又做了一个恶作剧

His mother called him"wild thing!"

妈妈骂他：“野兽!”

and Max said "I'll eat you up!"

麦克斯说：“我要吃掉你!”

so he was sent to bed without eating anything.

结果妈妈没让他吃晚饭，把他关到了房间里。

That very night in Max's room a forest grew

正是在那天晚上，麦克斯的房间里长出一片树林

and grew...

长啊长...

and grew until his ceiling hung with vines

直到天花板上挂满了葡萄藤

and the walls became the world all around

and an ocean tumbled by with a private boat for Max

and he sailed off through night and day

and almost over a year

And when he came to the place where the whild things are

they roared their terrible roars and gnashed their terrible teeth

野兽们发出了可怕的咆哮，磨着它们可怕的牙齿

and rolled their terrible eyes and showed their terrible claws

转动着它们可怕的眼睛，伸出了它们可怕的爪子。

till Max said "be still!"and tamed them with the magic trickof staring into all their yellow eyes without blinkingonce and they were frightened and called him the most wild thing of all
